DAVID HAIGH 

David is the CEO and founder of Brand Finance plc. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in London. He worked in International Financial Management then moved into the Marketing Services sector, first as a Financial Director of The Creative Business and then as a Financial Director of WCRS & Partners. David left to set up a financial marketing consultancy, which was later acquired by Publicis, the pan-European marketing services group, where he worked as a Director for five years.

David moved to Interbrand as Director of Brand Valuation in its London-based global brand valuation practice, leaving in 1996 to launch Brand Finance. David represented the British Standards institute on the International Standards Committee working party on the standardisation of brand valuation methods and practices, whose draft standard (ISO 10668) was published in November 2010. ​

GABRIELA SALINAS

Gabriela is a Global Managing Director of the Brand Finance Institute. She has a broad international experience, having worked in New York, Buenos Aires, Singapore, London and Madrid for clients such as Bank of America, Repsol, YPF, Telefónica, Terra Networks, Bausch & Lomb, Johnson & Johnson, Roca, GM, Great Eastern Life. In addition to her everyday work, she lectures on Brand Valuation, Management and Strategy at several business schools in Europe and Latin America. Gabriela has written numerous academic articles and books on brand valuation, among others: “Brand Valuation: a review of approaches, providers and methodologies” (2007, Deusto, Spain), “Brand Valuation: measuring to create value” (2008, Deusto, Spain) and "The International Brand Valuation Manual" (2009, Wiley, United Kingdom).

ALEX HAIGH 

Alex is a valuation director at Brand Finance and has been at the company and a Chartered Accountant, ACA. He is a technical specialist in the use of market research and brand valuation for transfer pricing and has completed the Advance Diploma in International Tax, with a specialisation in Transfer Pricing.

​

His other area of expertise has been the assessment on the return on investment of different brand architecture and brand positioning options. Much of this experience has focussed on identifying the brand structures, media investment, media mix and distribution channel management needed to minimise risk and maximise opportunity from any brand changes.

He has extensive experience in the Utilities, Telecoms, Banking, Airlines and Automobile sectors and more limited experience in most other sectors, in particular Insurance, Technology, Non-Consumer Food, Chemicals, Healthcare and Professional Services.

Given Brand Finance’s global footprint all of Alex’s experience is international, working on clients in the all countries in North America, Argentina, most of Europe, South Africa, Kenya, most of the Middle East, China, Singapore and Australia.

ANTHONY KENDALL

Anthony is a Strategy Director at Brand Finance. He previously worked as a Director of Global Brand Franchising at Vodafone and was part of the leadership team that built the Partner Market franchise business. Anthony was responsible for launching the Vodafone brand and managed ongoing B2B and B2C brand marketing activities in 45 markets across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and South America. 

Anthony studied Geography at St John’s College, Oxford and has an MBA from the London Business School.

RICHARD HAIGH

Richard is a Managing Director at Brand Finance. He has lectured in universities and business schools around the world, including London Business School, on topics surrounding brand valuation and management. Drawing from his extensive expertise in various sectors, such as banking, telecoms, airlines, sport and media, Richard has been able to advise our clients on their Brand Architecture, Portfolio Management, and Brand Positioning. Richard has a BA in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing with Brand Finance.

MUHTEREM ILGUNER

Muhterem Ä°lgüner is Turkey’s most prominent brand strategist and practitioner and has pioneered the introduction of brand naming, place branding and brand valuation exercises to Turkey.   
He established Brand Finance Turkey in 2007, and since then has managed the Turkey 100 ranking and report as well as the Metropol Turkey 30, our study of the most valuable and strongest metropol city brands of Turkey, first launched in 2019. 
Muhterem Ä°lgüner has spoken in over 30 cities on the subject of branding as well as making multiple TV interview appearances. His articles have been published across a wide variety of newspapers and magazines. 
He has written 5 books in his field of interest: Marka Yaratma ve YaÅŸatmanın Altın Kuralları (2005); Marka Åžehir (2011); Marka DeÄŸeri (2013); DerinliÄŸine Marka (2015); and DeÄŸer Yaratmak (2019).

ANDY MOORE

Andy Moore is an Insight Director at Brand Finance based out of the UK office in London.

He has over 30 years experience in international research, primarily on the client side, with senior leadership roles at Vodafone, PepsiCo and Mars. 

Andy has a degree in Natural Sciences from St John’s College, Cambridge University.

He specialises in strategically relevant, methodologically sound and well executed research and insight to underpin Brand Valuation and Brand Strategy development, using a variety of approaches including Brand Positioning analysis, Brand Equity Driver assessment, and conjoint measurement.

JEREMY SAMPSON

Jeremy Sampson is a Managing Director of Brand Finance Africa. He has a broad international experience, having worked between London and Johannesburg in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Reputation Management and Branding. He is a winner of numerous awards in the UK, USA and South Africa, and received the prestigious Financial Mail AdFocus Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010. He graduated from Canterbury College of Art, England, now the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), in Visual Communication. He is a former President of South African Designers (representing South Africa at six ICSID world conferences), Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers UK (International Relations board), board member of the Institute of Directors of South Africa,  Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (UK), Member IPA (UK), Founder of The Brand Council, Board member of the interim Marketing Association (MASA) and visiting professor at University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business and Da Vinci Institute.

BERTRAND CHOVET

Bertrand Chovet is a Managing Director of Brand Finance France. With more than 25 years of experience in branding, he specialises in brand management, brand valuation, brand audits & analytics. He has worked with clients such as 3M, Accor, Axa, Altice, At&t, Baccarat, Bnp Paribas, Brioni, Carmignac, Carrefour, Colgate-Palmolive, Constellium, Danone, Dim, Edenred, EDF, Fnac, Freelance.com, Gemalto, Heineken, Jean Paul Gaultier, Kering, Klepierre, LVMH, Mars, McDonald's, Michelin, Migros, Nescafé, Optimhome.com, Orange, Ratp, Rémy Martin, Renault, Roland Garros, Ritz Paris, Schneider Electric, Sigfox, Tarkett, Undiz, Visa, Volkswagen group, Volcom, Wonderbra, Wrigley or YSL. Bertrand has taught in HEC, CELSA, ESCE as well as EMlyon and other reputable business schools in France. He has published several articles and papers on branding and marketing and received numerous awards such as Grand Prix Stratégies, RedDot Communication Awards and TopCom Corporate & Consumer.

HUGO HENSLEY

Hugo Hensley is a Senior Consultant based out of Brand Finance London. He specialises in value-based brand strategy, technical valuations and sports consulting. The has more than four years of international experience within Brand Finance in London and Sydney. He has worked for clients such as Chevron, S&P Global, Insurance Australia Group and SABIC, among other. Hugo is a qualifying Chartered Accountant and he has lectured in Brand Valuation at UNSW; Masters in Engineering from Oxford University.

ANNIE BROWN

Annie Brown is a Senior Consultant at Brand Finance; she joined the London office as an analyst in 2017. A trainee management accountant, Annie has written a whitepaper examining the veracity of goodwill valuation, led the annual Global Intangible Finance Tracker study, and worked on numerous technical and strategic Brand Valuation projects. Annie specialises in the Oil & Gas and Banking industries, and has worked with Shell, Neste, Barclays and TD Bank. Prior to joining Brand Finance, Annie studied Philosophy & Economics at Edinburgh University.
